Division Elections
If you wish to run for division office you have until 2 pm on March 15th, 2026 to inform the nomination committee, Wil Davis and Rick Lach. Nominations may be made from the floor at the meeting. Members being nominated, from the floor, must be in attendance and give consent to the nomination. At the March meeting the committee will move to close the nominations and announce the slate of candidates.
Requirements to run for an office are:
1. Be a Member, in good standing, of the NMRA.
2. Reside in the Division 3
area as designated by MCR and NMRA.
After the nominations are closed and announced, ballots will be mailed to the membership. To receive a ballot you will need to be listed as a member in good standing and on the membership file received from the NMRA. You need to ensure that this information is correct. Your mailing information being incorrect will not be construed as a failure of the division to properly hold the elections.
The ballots will need to be filled out and return to the teller no later than 2 pm on April 19th, 2026. Ballots may be mailed to the teller or delivered to the teller by the start of the April meeting. Late ballots will not be counted. Failure of the USPS to deliver the ballots by the deadline will not be construed as a failure of the division to properly hold the election.
The teller will count the ballots and announce the new officers at the April meeting. The new officers will start their terms at the May meeting. Ballots will be destroyed after the announcement by the teller.
T-Trak Modules
There is a new kid in town. His name is T-Trak. What it does is take the module idea and reduced to a tabletop layout. It is one foot by one foot modules that can be tied together to form a layout. Mostly done on N scale, it can also be done in HO. Recent conventions have held a gathering of modules, To form a sizable running layout. You can purchase a module kit or a pre-built module on line. General Membership
March's meeting will be held at Greene County Historical Society on March 15th at 2 pm. Address is 74 W Church St, Xenia, OH. A ZOOM link will be available for the meeting. To receive the link for this and future meetings we must have your email address. If you have not been receiving notices, the lack of an email or an incorrect email might be the cause. Board of Governors (BOG)
The Division's Board of Governors(BOG) meetings are being held via ZOOM and are open to all members. Contact a BOG member or Webmaster for details. The next BOG meeting is on April 6th, at 7 pm.

The Dayton Train Showsm
Division 3, MCR, NMRA is the host of the Dayton Train Showsm held the first full weekend of November. For 2026 it will be held on November 7th and 8th. The show is from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am to 4 pm on Sunday. The show will be held at The Fairgrounds and Event Center of Montgomery County, 645 Infirmary Rd, Dayton, OH.

Video Library!
The division's video library contains over 300 titles, available to Division 3 members. Titles include Allen Keller Great Model Railroads series, modeling "how-to" videos, and prototypes railroads broken out by category to make them easier to find. New titles will be added during the year. These VHS tapes, DVDs, movies and books are available, but must be reserved through the Division 3 Librarian.
The video library is now in possession of 87 clinics from the NMRA National Office! New items are posted on the Division 3 Video Library web page. Many will be previewed here. To view a complete list of titles go to the video index (CLICK HERE).
