The Cherry Valley and Southern is an independent railroad that operates in the year of 1956. The railroad is over 95% sceniced. It occupies a space 32' by 12' with a 20' island. There is a mainline service with connection to a branchline at a diamond crossing. There are two yards and numerous industrial sidings. The branchline services a lumber camp along with other areas. The railroad has the capability of handling 4 mainline trains thru the use of a CTC panel.
